Happy 2024 from All Things Dassel



We hope that you are enjoying your new year. Our weather has been wild, but apparently we will be seeing winter sometime this week. Stay warm! Stay Active! Stay happy! Stay strong!


  • On January 27 at 10:00am visit the Dassel History Center and Ergot Museum for Healing with Herbs, a program presented by Jung-ah Sombke a local herb enthusiast. The cost is $5.00.

  • January also sees the auditions for the new FungusAmongus performance of The Crucible by Arthur Miller. They will be held at the Dassel History Center and Ergot Museum January 12 and 13.

  • The Dassel Public Library continues to hold Story Time at 10:00am every Friday morning.

  • The Winter Reads program will run from January 2 to March 16. How many books can you read?

  • The library book club will meet on January 24 at 1:00pm to discuss January's book choice.


What are you doing to stay active during our cold months?


  • Once we ever have snow... sledding, skiing and skating will be available at our many parks. In the meantime walking is always available.

  • Activities are available through D-C Community Ed.

  • Hall walking at the school, lap swimming and aquacise and open Gym. fee may be required

  • Health & Balance - A Season of Stress to a Season of Serenity; Moving through the Holiday Season with Ease are open for registration fee required

  • Join in for a pick-up game of adult hockey during the Friday lunch hour. Dassel-Cokato Rec Center Fridays, Nov. 17-Feb. 23 (no skating: 11/24, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19) 12:00-2:00pm. fee required

  • D-C High School One Act Plays will be happening at the beginning of February.

  • Dassel MN/Fitness is open for business.
