It seems as though May lasted longer than it did, and shorter than it could have. June is here! Graduation was held for our local seniors at Dassel Cokato High. We wish them the very best on their bright futures.

Farmers Markets are in full swing, gardens are planted.

Summer community education has begun.

Pools are open. Hiking trails are lovely, beaches open at our lakes. Stay safe in the water, swimming or boating!

Music, food, and art at our wineries abound.

Library reading programs for youth and adults are in full swing.

The Cheer team is practicing, The Dassel Cokato Women's Softball team are headed to State.

A new art exhibit has opened at our History Center; the collected art of Kurt and Paula Meyer, Water Works: Lakes, Streams, Rivers, and Seas.

We are soooooo excited to return to Jomas Hill Vineyard & Winery in June and this time we are paint pouring! Cost of the night includes one 12" x 9" bamboo cutting board as well as your choice of 2-Stemmed Wine Glasses or 2-Stemless Wine Glasses and your choice of color scheme (up to four colors can be used). Dassel's Historic Mushroom Building in back in business for the summer. Join us at the Mushroom building Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm beginning June13 and running until July 25. Ice cream treats and popcorn will be available for a small price. Summer evenings in the neighborhood!
